| Banners that pay per click eAds
General Features
- eAds is short for for
Electronic advertisements
- This program is one of the
oldest programs on the web. I've known about this
program for several years.
- Attempts to target audience by
categorizing your site
- Choose the ad that you want to
place - however, eAds will be able to change
these ads as the advertisers change. You have the
option of choosing among 4-5 different
advertisers.
- Banners are pulled from the
eAds server.
- May put up to three banners
per page (as I was told by eAds by e-mail)
Payouts
- Five cents per click
- Must accumulate $10.00 or more
(US dollars) before payout
- Paid Monthly
Limitations/drawbacks
- Lacks real time reporting of
your earnings (which are displayed on the third
of every month).
- The placement of
three or more banners next to each other on the
same page is not allowed.
- Need to wait over one
week (about 10 days) before eAds approves your
site.
- Your web site may be limited
to the initial category in which you've described
it. I've tried to add more categories by
e-mailing them several times; however, I keep
getting an automatically generated response which
has nothing to do with my request to add more
categories to my web site. However, eAds claims
that it is possible to add categories.
- They arbitrarily assign you a
account number and password which is hard to
remember.
- Need to modify the cut and
paste code to reflect your membership number

- Real time reporting of clicks,
hits and earnings.
- Generates a cut and paste code
customized for your web page.

Payouts
- Starting April 15, 1988, they
will pay 10 cents per click
- Currently clicks start at six
cents a click.
- All hosts are paid once a
month.
- No checks will be disbursed
for an amount less than $50. If the money owed to
the host is less than $50, the amount will be
added to the next months total.
Limitations/Drawbacks
- Unique Visitors. A
"unique visitor" is defined as a
maximum of one visit from any IP address per
twelve-hour period to each sponsor's website.
Host sites will be paid for unique visitors only.
- Only place one of their
banners per page.
- Slower to load (banners) than
eAds, but this is not unbearable.
