Just updated this page 11/19/01. Welcome to my web page.

Hi! My name is Carra. I'm in the process of updating this page as an ongoing project. I accidentally erased my old page. So I guess it's time to rewrite this page anyway. So here's a little about myself: I'm 22 years old and I'm in college. I'm seriously trying to decide what I want to do with my life. But I haven't found any answers. I'm interested in just about everything. But some things that have really stuck out in my mind are: internet, biology, medicine, and running. I surf the web just about everyday - that's more than I study. I wish I would just study more so that I'll pass college. Barely passed last semester. Yeah, I guess you could say that I'm addicted to the internet. But then again, who isn't. Internet is a just a part of my life, and I think it should be a part of everybody else's life. And if you're asking why all these ads on my page. It's called..... "financial aid!" My latest project is with Mint-Mail where you get paid for you and your friends reading some short e-mail. I thought I would give it a try. I signed up on 8/15/01, I'm still using it...

I run when I get some time. I love running on the treadmill, some people find the treadmill to be boring but it's really cool - all those numbers and stuff. It keeps me motivated. I guess I'm the kind of girl that likes numbers. But I don't think I'm a nerd by any means. Just look at my grades ;)

I love shopping and buying stuff. Who doesn't.

Now I'm addicted to buying things from Ebay! They have EVERYTHING. I can spend HOURS and hours there! Wow.

Maybe you and I will be bidding for the same items there! There's something there for everyone at dirt cheap prices. Maybe you can even make some money selling things there. I'm thinking about doing that too!

My Music:

I like all sorts of music. But I also have a special place in my heart for classical music. Do you like classical music?

My thoughts on Success:
Well, I'm trying my own advice out every day on this topic and will share with you what I've found. I find that I enjoy being a motivational speaker... Maybe there's a future for me in that as well.

Look like a winner: Dress appropriately and take care of your looks.
Look confident: Walk straight up, look up or straight ahead, not down.
Be on time for appointments and meetings.
Have goals in mind, and prioritize those goals. Really focus on the top one or two goals.
Spend time with your support system: your family and your loved ones.
Exercise at least 4 times a week.
Get enough sleep.
Engage in positive self talk: believe in yourself. You can do it!
Wake up at the time you set your alarm. Don't be a snooze button abuser.
This is my newest addition to the list. I'm going to try it myself. I figure that to be a winner, you need to be in control of your life, and what better way to show control over your life than being able to determine when you're going to wake up. This shows will power - start your day with determination to succeed. Success doesn't come easily. You have to work at it.
Be organized and neat in everything you do. I have to work on this one!
